Bianca VonBank, LMFT

THERAPIST FOR WOMEN IN NYC AND THROUGHOUT NEW YORK AND FLORIDA

My Approach

I value open-mindedness, curiosity, humor, honesty, and authenticity. My goal is to bring these values in my work with my clients. This means we’ll likely laugh (a lot), probably cry, maybe curse a little, and have some pretty hard conversations as we get to the root of what’s holding you back.

I am not the therapist that’s going to solely focus on your childhood, your mother, or keep asking “how does that make you feel?” While exploring early childhood and attachment can be helpful, I don’t exclusively do that type of therapy work. I’m focused on the actions and skills that will lead to the results you came to therapy in the first place for.

My goal is that working together leaves you feeling that our time was productive and helpful. You can expect to have the space you need to process something recent, dig deep into the past, or cultivate new skills and strategies to take meaningful action in your life.

I keep it real and will challenge you. My patients oftentimes thank me for not hesitating to be direct and straightforward when it feels like something is off.

I strongly believe that our intuition is everything. Your wise mind, gut, or inner knowing is key. I love to support women in learning how to connect with themselves and trust their inner wisdom.

We will laugh. Being in therapy can be heavy sometimes. I believe a little humor is essential and cathartic. I’m not afraid to talk about anything you need to talk about. After over a decade in this field, I’ve heard it all. Let’s get it OUT.
